A passion for fragrance. A problem with the options.
The beginning

A passion for fragrance. A problem with the options.

It began with an obsession with fragrance. Perfume was already a rabbit hole: the notes, the composition, and the endless possibilities of combining scents.

But when it came to making a room smell the way I wanted, the options felt limited. Room sprays felt ordinary. Personal perfume worked, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for.

Then came home fragrance, and with it, a new set of questions.

Why couldn't rose be more than rose? Why couldn't vanilla be richer, or coffee creamier? Why the same familiar fragrances, over and over again?

There had to be more to fragrance than what was already out there.

A beautiful flame.<br> A useless Jar.
The Candle

A beautiful flame.
A useless Jar.

Scented candles seemed like the answer. A flame, a beautiful fragrance, a different way to experience scent.

But there was another problem.

When the final burn was over, the fragrance disappeared, but what remained was usually a glass jar with no real purpose.

I'd find myself looking around the house, wondering what an empty vessel could become. Eventually, there was one practical answer: throw it away.

That never felt right.

If someone was going to spend good money on a beautiful fragrance, shouldn't the object itself be worth keeping?

That question became the beginning of Raawiyah.

Two people, one obsession.

From an idea to a House.

One idea brought two people together.

What began as a personal pursuit became a shared ambition: to create something genuinely different. Not another candle in a glass jar. Not another collection built around the same predictable fragrance vocabulary.

We began searching for the right notes and the right combinations. Fragrances familiar enough to love, yet different enough to remember.

There were experiments, adjustments, and more experiments. Gradually, the fragrances began to take shape.

But one problem remained.

The vessel.

19 years old. Permanently down the fragrance rabbit hole.

What began as an obsession with perfumes grew into a fascination with fragrance composition: the notes, the materials, and what makes a scent worth remembering.

His ambition for Raawiyah is to build a Pakistani fragrance house with its own identity, creating distinctive fragrances recognised beyond Pakistan.

He's deeply unimpressed by an industry that confuses selling fragrance with understanding it. Another pre-made oil dressed up as luxury. Another borrowed identity. Another brand with little of its own to offer.

He believes Pakistan deserves more than imitation. So does he.

Love the fragrance or hate it, now you know who's responsible.

Always thinking. Always figuring things out.

He has a knack for digging deeper, connecting the dots, and finding answers where others might see a dead end. Give him a problem, and he might disappear for a while, but he rarely comes back empty-handed.

At Raawiyah, he brings that instinct to operations, sourcing, and the decisions that turn ideas into something tangible. While the vision takes shape, he's working out what it takes to make it happen.

He believes every good idea deserves a way forward. He finds one.

As for delayed deliveries? Well, now you know whom to chase.

From glass to marble.
The Vessel

From glass to marble.

We knew it couldn't be another glass jar.

We wanted something that could outlive the fragrance inside it. Something natural and substantial, with a presence of its own. Something that would still belong in a home long after the candle was finished.

That search eventually led us to marble.

First came Ziarat White. Then came Absolute Black, offering another expression of the same idea.

Finding the right material was only part of the challenge. We still needed someone who could turn it into the vessel we had imagined.

Weeks passed as we searched, compared, asked questions, and started again. Eventually, we found a marble craftsman who could help bring the idea to life.

Stone became vessel. The vessel became part of the fragrance experience.

And the idea began to take shape as Raawiyah.

Why Raawiyah exists

A fragrance worth experiencing.
An object worth keeping.

Raawiyah was built around a simple belief: a fragrance should be worth experiencing, and the object that carries it should be worth keeping.

Our fragrances explore familiar notes in less predictable ways, bringing together combinations that offer something beyond the ordinary.

Our vessels are made from natural marble, with individual markings that make every piece subtly different.

And when the final burn is over, the story of the vessel doesn't have to end with it.

BECAUSE FRAGRANCE WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE THE ONLY THING YOU BOUGHT.

An object worth keeping.
A fragrant worth experiencing.

An object worth keeping.
